Since it can be installed inside the cabin, this offers extra protection from the outside weather conditions.

• Carry handleTo fit car batteries, battery boxes are designed to be rectangular. Most have carry handles on each side for portability and convenience. A model that comes with handles can guarantee to hold the weight of the battery and box together. Some units are engineered with mounting clamps and lid straps to hold the box securely in place. • OutputsHow many devices do you want to connect to your battery box? Think about your minimum viable setup and what you need to power. For instance, your main power needs a 12V connection for your LED lights and USB ports for charging. So look for a battery box that meets this demand. Thus, it is worth double-checking as this would be very frustrating.

Cheaper ones can be found for around $35, while the more expensive ones can cost more than $300. If price is not an issue for you, invest in a high-quality one. But if you have a limited budget, try to find a unit that suits your financial plan. In general, think about your budget limit and prioritise the features and characteristics that are more important to you.
