Oxford Kitchens was established over 43 years ago and is now a leading kitchen and Bathroom company in the Oxfordshire area. Due to continued growth we are looking to enhance our design team with an additional kitchen and bathroom designer with interior design skills for our prestigious showroom in Wootton Nr Abingdon Oxon.

The ideal candidate will possess a talent for design and flair to design individual ‘one off’ bespoke kitchens and bathrooms for our discerning clients. You will ideally be educated to degree standard in design with good numerical and literacy skills. Good interpersonal communication skills are a necessity as you are expected to deal with high end customers who demand the very best service and standard of work possible.

You will work on projects in excess of £30k from conception through to completion, liaising with both client and installation teams throughout to insure the smooth running of the project.

Ideally we would prefer an experienced Kitchen and Bathroom designer, able to use ‘Compusoft Winner’ would be a distinct advantage but training can be given to those candidates who do have computer design experience with other programs.

It would be helpful if you have knowledge of the products available from Miele, Siemens, Hansgrohe, Axor, Keuco and Villeroy and Boch or similar high end manufacturers.

Salary, we will start off at a good basic depending on experience rising in increments depending on sales achieved to £30k per annum with a bonus depending on end of year targets being met.

Hours of work, we work from 8.30am through to 5.00 pm with a break for lunch which can be taken at variable times depending on workload. Alternate Saturdays will need to be worked with a day off in the week to compensate.

You must own a car, be able to drive and have a clean licence, mileage is paid for business use as is the extra insurance for using your car for business use.
