SUPPLIER ACCOUNT MANAGER
Salary: £27,945 - £32,085 per annum
Reports to: Lead Supplier Performance Manager
Department: Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement
Location: Stratford, London or Sterling House, Oxford (1-2 days per week in the office) or home-based (occasional travel as needed to come into the office or supplier sites)
Employment type: 1x 12 month FTC and 1x 3 month FTC
Working hours: Full time 35 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Supplier Account Manager. We need you to act as the main point of contact for a specific supplier ensuring that their representatives know what is expected of them, feel accountable for delivery and are well informed about their performance.
What will I be doing?
Managing Cancer Research UK's (CRUK's) relationship with external suppliers to ensure they deliver a great supporter experience, delivering service to the agreed levels
Acting as the first point of escalation for issues relating to the supplier, being responsible for negotiating the resolution of issues and proactively managing the supplier
Working collaboratively and building strong internal and external relationships to provide supplier account management expertise
Actively monitoring and providing insight and rationale for expenditure and supplier performance
Holding monthly and quarterly strategic meetings with the supplier to discuss performance
Working closely with Supplier Account Executives to support in the day to day management of external suppliers
Acting as coach and mentor for Supplier Account Executives.
What skills are you looking for?
Excellent experience of building and maintaining strong and effective relationships
Recent supplier account management experience within a customer service/marketing environment and an understanding of account management principles
Commercially astute with experience of holding external suppliers to account while maintaining a diplomatic and professional approach to supplier relationships
Proven ability to think analytically and pro-actively seek and implement innovative solutions.
You'll need the ability to challenge constructively and effectively communicate with a diverse range of people. You'll also need to be confident and methodical when problem solving and decision making.
