Household and garden personal assistant / helper needed for retired creative academic in rural Northumberland/Cumbria Border. The job entails helping around the house and garden, driving to appointments, and occasionally helping when the individual becomes unwell with a neurological problem. The job is ideally suited to graduate / post-graduate studying remotely, as there is lots of 'free-time' (paid non-contact hours) when you need to be on-site, but are not active. The location is very rural, with beautiful nature walks from the house. You must be physically fit to help in the house and in the garden with creative projects; you should enjoy walking; be calm and self-motivated, with a good sense of humour; you must not be a smoker; you must be a good, confident driver with a clean license. You should have had at least one covid vaccination, be willing to have any other appropriate vaccinations. The live-in assistant help work is for blocks of time from one week to a month at a time (negotiable). The assistant lives independently in a purpose built-designer annex that is completely self-contained.
