Sous Chef
We are currently looking to recruit a strong Sous Chef to support the head chef in the daily running of this busy kitchen. As Sous chef you will deputise in the Head Chefs absence and ensure standards are maintained at all times

A beautiful 400 year old beamed tavern, with a cosy bar and glowing fires serves traditional heart warming bar food. Good 'old fashioned' indulgence is the order of the day in the restaurant, where you'll find classic English fayre and daily fresh fish specials on the a la carte menu.

The ideal Sous Chef will have the following:
Experience as a strong Senior CDP or Junior Sous as a minimumA passion for fresh food and proven experience cooking it.Flexible to work hours as requiredGood knowledge of all sections.Driven to ensure food standards are maintained at all timesIdeally live locally with own transportAll candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a relevant and valid work permit or visa to live and work in the UK.
