An exciting opportunity has arisen within Orocco for an apprentice builder to join the team.

We are an ambitious and well-established Joinery construction firm with a number of key contracts in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

This is an important role in which you will:

Be employed to actively learn from qualified trades operatives, how to carry out construction or maintenance activity in association with building and undertake any associated skills required through work-based learning activities.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a GCSE (or equivalent) Level 4 or above in English and Mathematics (OR)
Be aged between 16 - 19 years to apply for these Modern Apprenticeship positions and have achieved a minimum of 3 National 4s at SCQF level 4 or above or equivalent, including Maths, English and Craft & Design or other Technical Subject.
Be committed to attend college one-day per week or on block release
Be proactive and willing to learn and listen, the successful applicant will progress with training and experience to become a fully qualified trade operative.
