ES/AB6 Personal Support Assistant (Carer) With Exceptional Cleaning and Organisational Skills Required - Islington

I am a deaf man, living independently in my own home in Islington (near Dalston Junction). I am looking for a personal care assistant with exceptional cleaning and organisational skills who can support me in my home.

Duties will include:

Assisting with organising my home environment and paperwork
Cleaning and laundry
Motivating and prompting with medication
Some food preparation
Feeding cats and changing litter trays

I have very exacting standards and need someone who can support me in a way that works best for me. It is imperative you are trustworthy and honest. A good use of the English language is essential so that my directions can be easily understood.

Reliability is essential. There will need to be some flexibility regarding shift patterns. Times of shifts could change but 24 hours’ notice will always be provided.

I have 8 indoor cats so you must be comfortable with cats, changing litter trays and feeding them.

I require support 12 hours a week on the following days/times:

Monday/Tuesday - 6pm – 9pm

Wednesdays – 8pm – 10pm

Thursday/Fridays – 7pm – 9pm

Pay: £12.00 per hour, with 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year.
