-£9.50 an hour starting pay (going up to £11.50ph)

-37.5 hours per week (can vary depending on fundraising location)

In every corner of Britain, Royal Voluntary Service mobilises volunteers to support elderly people who are most in need and suffering from loneliness, illness or isolation. RVS’s 25,000 volunteers help older people stay active, independent, and able to continue to contribute to society. Through the gift of voluntary service, the volunteers provide much-needed support for people as they age.

The Role:

Royal Voluntary Service are offering an exciting opportunity to be a part of their growing in-house Fundraising team in Manchester. Fundraisers will be explaining to members of the public the amazing work RVS do in the community combating the issues elderly people face, like loneliness and ill health.

If you are a person who is passionate about helping provide care and companionship for some of the most vulnerable people in your community, loves being part of a fun team, confident in talking to people, and enjoys a new challenge every day, we would love to hear from you!

You don't need experience in fundraising to make a successful fundraiser, many roles give you the skills and confidence to do the role. e.g. customer service, bar work, hospitality, actor, musician, retail, waiter.
