Key Details

As an overnight carer you will be expected to provide care and companionship to our elderly clients in their own homes from 10pm-7am.

We currently have two options available:

Sleepover Care is a service provided for clients who need support at bedtime and sometimes during the night. You'll have your own bed and are permitted to sleep and it is paid at £78.50 per shift.
Waking Night Care is a service provided for clients who need support throughout the night and is paid at an hourly rate of £11.50 per hour. You'll be expected to be awake throughout the night.

What We Seek In Our Bright Carers

Warm-hearted, joyful and determined individuals, who love to bring out the best in others.
Empathy and patience to support older people lead fulfilling lives.
Commitment, reliability and a mature and proactive approach to situations that comes from life experience.
A driving licence and car are essential.
Good verbal and written communication in English.
Proof of right to work in the UK.
To pass the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG).

COVID-19

We’ve taken prudent steps in order to be laser focused on the health and wellbeing of our staff.

We provide a full and bespoke Bright Care PPE.

We have an in-house coach who is available for all staff to discuss any concerns.

We believe it vital for our Bright Care Academy to provide face-to-face training to best equip staff to feel confident in caring for our clients. Our interview and training process are aligned with safe, social distancing measures, in our Covid-19 Secure branches.
