Description
Mental Health and Learning Disability Community Support Worker / Care Assistant with excellent communication skills is required for a well-established Charity based in Redditch, Worcestershire, West Midlands.

The organisation offers a 2 week new starter training program for all new applicants, along with continuous learning for all staff.
At the end of your new starter training program, you will be fully trained to support customers. You will hold your Care Certificate, Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication, Autism, Safeguarding and Epilepsy certificates, plus more.
Training is essential for you to commence employment with the organisation. You will be required to be flexible to attend the 10 days training which runs across Monday to Friday. This will be a mixture of classroom learning at the office in Bedworth, and also via Zoom.
SALARY: £8.91 per Hour
BENEFITS: Sleep-ins paid at £7.83 per hour, Comprehensive Training, Paid Shadow Shifts, Pension Scheme, Free Health Care Scheme, Seaside static caravan to rent at discounted rates on a Haven site (sleeps up to 8)
LOCATION: Redditch, Worcestershire, West Midlands
JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full or Part Time
SHIFT PATTERNS: Shift patterns can vary so can be any of the following plus more:
7am – 3pm
3pm – 10pm
9am – 2pm
4pm – 10pm
Plus Sleep-In Shifts
The company do not offer short calls. The minimum support package for this service is 1.5 hours. Candidates will need to be flexible with working hours and some weekend work will be required
