Rug Bug Benny’s is a new and exciting, high paced cocktail Bar & Restaurant with live entertainment, we are looking for an enthusiastic chef who has an eye for detail and a passion for achieving high standards.

Are you keen to get in at the start of a new business looking to expand into other venues. We are currently seeking a new chef to join our team and be an essential part of the business and its future.

Old, Young, New to the game, we are seeking skills and passion, experience is off course a bonus but nothing beats the determination to succeed.

The Chef will typically be able to help the duties of the Other chefs and also the kitchen assistants when required. in addition, be responsible for:

· Cooking food to order following the restaurant specifications and following the Recipe/Spec book

· Communicating effectively with BOH and FOH teams to create a positive atmosphere for colleagues and Guests

· Keeping the kitchen and other areas at a high level of cleanliness, including thorough cleaning throughout the day and at the end of every shift - including weekly deep cleaning tasks

· Ensuring all food safety and health & safety procedures are strictly adhered

· Informing the HC/OWNER of any stock needing to be ordered and FIFO process is followed

· Recording all wastage

· Helping to keep storerooms organised and assisting with deliveries

· Other reasonable duties as requested by the senior management team

· Understand the ordering system to step in for the HC if necessary

· Experience/ Skills required

· Ability to stand, walk and carry out physical duties for the period of your shift

· Ability to adhere to restaurant menu specifications

We run a 4 day work week Thursday to Sunday to ensure all staff have a well balanced lifestyle
