The role:

Part time kitchen assistants required to wash dishes, prepare food and support the kitchen team. No experience necessary.

The ideal candidate:

We are looking for part time & full time Kitchen porters across our sites who will support the chefs and kitchen team with food prep and during service. You must be available to work evenings & weekends.

We work hard to try and create teams who enjoy working together and an environment in which people grow and develop their skills. We invest in training our team and have in the past also taken the team on research trip around the UK and to Mexico and Spain. This is a perfect role for someone who wants to grow and develop as a chef.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We pay hourly and all kitchen staff receive and equal share of the tips. We work hard to try and offer a great working environment, happy teams and a good work life balance.

KAs receive an hourly wage of up to £9 plus tips usually £2-£3 per hour. We offer extensive training opportunities, research trips both in the UK and abroad. We push our teams to be the best they can be and hope that everyone enjoys significant professional development in their time with us.

GAMBAS

Gambas focuses on outstanding seafood and wine. We offer clean, fresh, and confident cooking, in a relaxed atmosphere. At Gambas we create an atmosphere and service style that immediately makes people feel welcome and at ease. We want people to feel a sense of escapism whilst they dine with us that gives them the relaxed and fun feeling you get whilst on holiday. The whole experience should be geared towards enjoying and living in that moment. We want to achieve a really high standard of food and service where customers aren’t left wanting at any time, yet it’s relaxed and informal. We work with high quality fresh fish and the best produce from local and Spanish farms.

CARGO CANTINA

Cargo Cantina has been serving tacos and margaritas since 2017. From the beginning we have aimed to bring a quality, fresh and fun Mexican experience to Bristol. We have had a passion for the food, drinks and culture of Mexico since our travels there 20 years ago. Since that initial visit we have been back multiple times, both ourselves and with our team, growing our knowledge and refining our ideas. Our taco bar at Wapping Wharf was inspired by the street stalls of Mexico City. Cargo Cantina was an immediate hit with people queuing out of the door of the tiny shipping container.
