Our client seeks an Interior Design Course Tutor to work within the Diploma HE Team. This is a full-time, permanent role, Mon - Fri on a 44-week contract with a 40 days holiday allowance (to be taken out of term time).

The role requires:

• Knowledge and practice of teaching in Higher Education, a level 5 qualification in Interior Design and practical experience of working in practice as a designer
• Computer competency: intermediate - advanced level use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and EstiMAC/PC
• Excellent spoken and written English and strong communication skills

The main purpose of the role is:

• Participate in the delivery of the DipHE course syllabus to students, including teaching, assessment, and preparation of course content
• Inspire students, develop initiatives to achieve high levels of retention, encourage students to engage actively and to take a creative approach to their studies
• Assist Course Tutors with the day-to-day teaching requirements of the programme
• Monitor students' academic progress and welfare
• Undertake teaching, learning, assessment processes and on-going improvements on all courses when required
