We are looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Manager.

£42,917 - £45,954 per annum – Depending on experience

We are recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Manager who will be able to provide effective strategic leadership on the Organisation’s direction of Health and Safety.
The successful candidate will;
- Be professionally qualified and industry accredited.
- They will have demonstrated experience of providing advice, direction, and support across a large and diverse health, social care, charity or housing organisation on all issues associated with health & safety.
- Be able to evidence their experience of partnership working with a variety of key stakeholders from across the health, social care, housing in both regulated and non-regulated services,
- Be able to evidence their experience of working closely with and supporting operational and front-line managers to achieve the very best of outcomes and outputs and to share examples of good and professional practice,
- Be able to review, identify and to develop policy and procedures to assist the organisation in maintaining an effective and seamless service and continued improvement across all aspects of the health and safety environment,
- Be able to recognise and ensure the safe systems of work are in place and are being effectively monitored in line with statutory and regulatory compliance,
- Be able to evidence experience of leading and developing related frameworks, strategies, and policy reviews,
- Be a positive role model in demonstrating “what good looks like”,
- Have an approachable and positive can-do approach to health, safety and to risk management,
- Have a focus on achieving good evidence-based outcomes,
- Be a team player and will contribute to organisation wide quality, delivery, and performance outcomes – they will take pride in what they do.
The role will take on the responsibility for and provide assurance as the “Competent Person''.
