Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a leading educational institution in London to recruit for an Assistant Director, Research Support to play a key role working within their Research and Faculty Office (RFO). The RFO plays a critical role in helping to deliver excellence in both teaching and research by providing Faculty HR Support, Research Support and management of the PhD programme.

The Assistant Director will be responsible for the delivery of an excellent research support service for faculty. This includes line management of the Research Support Team, oversight of the management of internal research funds, supporting faculty with the application and management of external research funds, management of the research lab services and research ethics applications, and compliance with all legal requirements including GDPR, NDA's and research ethics. The Assistant Director will also manage relevant research committees and the annual review of research performance.

The successful candidate will have significant research experience within an academic environment, and have exceptional communications and engagement skills. You will also have experience relating to grant administration and management and experience leading projects.
