Description

Personal Care Assistant required, supporting busy and outgoing female living in Sonning Common, Rg4. Full training will be given. Immediate start if possible. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

Personal Care
Manual Handling (client specific technique - training given)
Washing
Cleaning (light)
Cooking
Assisting with some physical aspects of childcare - daughter is currently 8 years old
Assisting to, from and at work - currently working from home
Assisting at social activities

The regular shift pattern is 1 week on, 1 week off.

On average, PAs need to be available for 12-13 hours per day and then available to call back in an emergency. This is on a one week on, one week off basis. The successful applicant will need to stay overnight once or twice in their week or can choose to live in while on shift if preferred.

**Please note - accommodation can be provided during the worked week but local applicants have the option to return home when not requried overnight. All meals included.**

Experience is not necessary but ability to pick up routine quickly is essential. This position may suit someone on a gap year or someone looking for experience in care with a view to achieving a permanent position.

£135 per day and £65 per sleepover/emergency evening call back, plus statutory holiday pay. PAYE. Pension available.

Start time is around 6.30am daily with some later starts at weekends.
