Description

We are looking for a Carer for a young man aged 28, living in BS16 1JF.

He is a happy, fun loving young many with a cheeky sense of humour. He has learning difficulties and well controlled epilepsy. He is non verbal but does let you know what he wants.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors and enjoys doing something different everyday.

A rough idea of his day is to get him up and into a quick bath, dressed, breakfast, and laundry on.

Then an activity in the community e.g walk, cycling, bowling, cinema, picnic sometimes even the pub. Sort his lunch then continue with your plans for the day. Evening meal then bath and ready to hand over.

Duties include:

Activity planning

Ensuring medicine is taken.

Minimal paperwork is required.

Driving is not essential as we are on the bus route.

32 or 35 hours a week based on a set 3 week rota.

£10 per hour. More hours available to cover other carers holiday.

Must like dogs.
