Charity People are delighted to be partnering with a Social Welfare Charity to recruit a Fundraising Officer with a focus on Marketing.
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising Officer to come in and manage a range of exciting marketing campaigns to help drive donations across a variety of channels. A newly created role and reporting to the Fundraising Manager, we are looking for someone to come in and work to research, plan and deliver individual and planned giving acquisition campaigns to increase income from payroll giving, regular giving through direct debit and one-off donations. You will take a lead on the delivery of direct mail appeals, manage responses and assist the team in developing supporter journeys. In addition to this, you will assist in the development of a donor recognition programme. You will also work to build relationships with potential donors across a variety of channels, including working with HR and engagement teams in the fast- paced rail industry served by the charity
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with experience in Marketing or Fundraising, you should have experience in managing and assisting in marketing campaigns, using a CRM system and reporting. You should also have an ability to plan and organise your own workload, possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate initiative. We would welcome applicants with other relevant fundraising experience as there may be opportunities to work cross functionally
