Are you strong on processes and Year-end? If you are available immediately, this is an exciting role for someone to bring their strong finance technical skills and work closely with the Head of Finance.
Charity People are very pleased to be partnering with a £20million professional examination body based in London to help recruit a Year-end Accountant.
This is a six months contract role offering a salary circa £55,000 per annum.
Your main duties and responsibilities are:
- Lead on the annual audit exercise and support the Financial Accountant
- Provide timely and accurate responses for auditors
- Responsible for preparing analysis to support the statutory disclosures in compliant with Charity SORP
- Establish and develop schedules
- Draft the fundamental framework of the report
- Work closely with the Head of Finance on projects
- Improve controls and processes
- financial planning and management accounts
Candidates applying for this role must have the following skills and experience:
- Experience working for a Charity and preparing accounts according to Charity SORP
- Very strong experience in reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Very strong analytical and financial skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Very strong influencing skills
- Able to manipulate complex spreadsheets and set up easy to read Excel reports
- Holds a recognised CCAB qualifications - ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA
