Salary: UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £45,610 - £53,757 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is looking for a “Deputy Chief of Staff” / Director’s Office Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced and purpose-led team.

This role will collaborate closely with the Acting Chief of Staff to provide high-level support to the Director, Professor Mariana Mazzucato, ensuring a smooth-functioning team, supporting her role as Director of the Institute, and maximising the impact of her work in global fora.

IIPP is founded and directed by Mariana Mazzucato. Our team brings together an interdisciplinary group of cutting edge academics and practitioners with global experience. IIPP’s mission is to is change how public value is imagined, practised and evaluated to tackle societal challenges - through our work on new research for a new movement, training the next generation of leaders, global policy impact, and engaging the public.

We are at an exciting point in history, with radical thinking emerging in economics and policy-making. By offering a new approach where public and private sectors can meet – and focusing minds on public value and mission-oriented policies – we can solve 21st- century challenges, collaboratively.
