Secondary Behaviour Mentor | Whetstone, Barnet
A sympathetic, inspiring Secondary Behaviour Mentor is required in a stunning Secondary School in Whetstone, Barnet. This Secondary Behaviour Mentor role will see you supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, working 1:1 and within small group settings to help build confidence and academic skills.
- Supportive Secondary School located in Whetstone, Barnet
- Supporting students with Social, Emotional, Behavioural and Mental Health Needs across KS3 and KS4
- Full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4pm
- £18,000 pro rata to term time and paid weekly via PAYE

As a Secondary Behaviour Mentor, you will be supporting students who have emotional and behavioural difficulties in KS3 and KS4. You will be working with small 'booster' groups and intervention 1:1s where specific points can be targeted and worked upon. In the Secondary Behaviour Mentor role, you will be picking up a series of useful skills and techniques by following a thorough CPD plan adapted for you by the SENDCo team. You will join a friendly and supportive team of experience professionals who are able to offer support and guidance.
Located in Whetstone, Barnet, the school holds itself to an extremely high standard and strives for excellent. This Barnet based Secondary School has worked hard to achieve its Ofsted 'Outstanding' rating and promotes outstanding teacher training to all its staff.
