Primary School Clubs Manager – Fantastic Islington School – Term Time – January start
A longstanding client are on the lookout for a permanentClubs Manager, to join their brilliant after school provision team in the new year. This is a full time (35hrs per week) and term time only role!
If successful, you will be responsible for:
- Working across 2 fantastic Primary Schools
- Breakfast & After School Clubs – providing wraparound childcare for working families
- All extra-curricular clubs (booking, setting up, quality…)
- Managing a staff team effectively
- Manging school lettings – including fundraising efforts
The schools’ leadership team are looking for a confident, organised and articulate individual with high standards. Experience working as a professional within a school setting would be ideal and advantageous as your role will have a major impact on the quality of provision for children and you will also act as the out of hours Designated Safeguarding lead.
Based in Islington, the schools are very well resourced with excellent facilities. Led by a reputable and proven Executive Head Teacher, you will have the opportunity to join a brilliant team, ensuring the high-quality delivery for after school provision.

ROLE:
- Primary School Clubs Manager
- Travel & work between 2 school sites – Zone 1 & 2
- Responsible for Breakfast, After School & Extra-Curricular clubs
- Ensuring high quality provision & organisation of all clubs
- ASAP (January 2022) start
- Permanent Contract
- Salary: £32,355 - £34,056 pa + 22.1% Government Pension Scheme
- Full Time (35 hrs per week)
- Core hours – 11am - 7pm (flexibility around drop in visits to check quality)
- Term Time Only
PERSON:
- PERFECT for a professional with school-based experience
- Experience & training as a Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) an advantage!
- Requires someone confident, organised & with excellent interpersonal skills
- Previous experience & ability to manage staff team effectively
- Excellent communication skills required!
- Ability to use technology effectively – booking software, Microsoft 365 packages
