Reception Teacher – Part Time – Barnet – January 2022

A friendly Primary School located in the Outer London borough of Barnet are looking to recruit a Reception Teacher to start this January, 2022, on a part time basis, and a long term contract until July 2022.

The School provides high quality education, preparing children with skills for life and encouraging them to be well rounded individuals who are respectful, kind and tolerant of others. In your role as a Reception Teacher, you will have high expectations for the children’s behaviour, encouraging a ‘have a go’ attitude towards learning to develop perseverance skills.

As a Reception Teacher, you will be part of a fantastic EYFS team that is committed to providing a secure, happy and calm environment in which all children are able to thrive socially, emotionally and academically.

Please note that this position is part – time for 2.5 - 3 days a week, consecutive days but either at the beginning or the middle of the week depending on your availability.

Job Description – Reception Teacher

• Reception Teacher
• Part time – working 2.5 – 3 consecutive days
• Working either Monday – Wednesday, or Wednesday – Friday
• Planning and delivering challenging and engaging learning opportunities
• January 2022 start
• Long term contract until July 2022
• Pay - £160 - £210 per day depending on experience
• Outer London Borough of Barnet

Person Specification – Reception Teacher

• Reception Teachers with good behaviour management

• Good understanding of the Early Years Framework required
• Excellent subject knowledge & ability to differentiate
• Excellent record of performance management in previous roles
• Passionate about teaching in Early Years
• Ambitious and driven to succeed
• Ability to work as part of a team
• You must be able to commit until July 2022
