You will play an important part in the COVID Catch-Up Project, supporting students in Mathematics by planning and delivering 1:1 tuition sessions and helping to close gaps in knowledge and accelerate student progress.

Mathematics COVID Catch-Up Tutor – About the role:

• High-performing Secondary School in Hounslow
• 2-term contract, starting in January until July 2022
• Salary: £19,000 (pro rata)
• Tutoring Mathematics 1:1 and to groups of between 2-6 children
• Tutoring across Years 7-11 up to and including GCSE Mathematics classes
• Nurturing a love for learning, a fearless attitude and a growth mindset

Mathematics COVID Catch-Up Tutor – Job Requirements:

• Exclusively available to Mathematics Graduates with a 2:1 or higher degree grade
• Excellent and proven subject knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Mathematics curriculum
• The ability to think-on your feet and use initiative when faced with a new challenge
• The adaptability to change your teaching style based upon the age, ability and preferred learning style of your students
• Ideal role for aspiring Mathematics Teachers seeking additional classroom experience before applying for a PGCE
