Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for somebody to join the team, to lead and grow the media, marketing, and communications function.
As a successful applicant, you will have oversight of the function, where you will work to amplify the content and message of OCCA’s speaking team and key ministry initiatives across digital and traditional marketing channels. This position requires you to think strategically and tactically to ensure the right content gets to the right audience.
You will also have oversight of OCCA’s brand image and reputation and will be responsible for developing the communications plan and for shaping the storytelling narrative through compelling campaigns and media products. To achieve this, you will work with the organisational leadership team, to implement their vison and objectives.
We are a registered Christian charity based in Oxford, with a collaborative working culture and welcoming atmosphere. You will join a small, dynamic team during an exciting period of transformation and development.
The key skills, qualifications and competencies that we are looking for are outlined below (a more detailed list is included in the job description):
- Degree level academic qualification or relevant equivalent experience;
- Significant experience in a similar role, with time in a management or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to combine creative and critical thinking to craft compelling, fit-for-purpose media products
- High level of technical ability around social media, websites, intranets, and other digital platforms.
- Experience across a range of media including Digital, Print, TV and/or Radio.
- Ability to think strategically and technically, adjust seamlessly to shifting priorities, influence key decision makers, and to thrive in a collaborative and entrepreneurial business environment.
- Highly organised and adaptable, willing to work on multiple deliverables in parallel and to deadlines;
- Ability to work under pressure, on multiple tasks and to deadlines
- A team player, with a pro-active approach, geared towards working in a collaborative environment.
