Charity People are pleased to have partnered with a youth focused charity n their search for a Fundraising Executive. This varied role will focus on raising funds from individuals, at all levels. If you are passionate about youth services and are interested in this role, we want to hear from you.
This was first Youth Zone in London, open 7 days a week and exists to give young people, particularly those who are disadvantaged somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.
This state-of-the-art building provides young people with access to a range of activities, offering them the opportunity to try new things and meet new friends, with the purpose of supporting them to become healthy and successful adults.

About the role
You will join a small, growing fundraising team. In this varied role you will be responsible for acquiring, cultivating and raising donations from individuals at all levels. This includes securing higher gifts from philanthropists, building their mid-value giving program (1000 Club) and ensuring donors have an excellent experience. You will manage a portfolio of donors and design and deliver donor campaigns. You will also work with some family trusts and foundations.
About you
We are looking for a pro-active candidate with a varied skillset. Your experience could come from a fundraising position, or you may have a marketing and/sales background. You will be passionate about providing opportunities to young people.
You will be strong communicator with excellent writing skills. You will enjoy developing relationships with people and managing projects that require you to be creative.

This is a full time, fixed term 12-month contract. The salary is £28, 000 - £32, 000, depending on experience and is based in their state-of-the-art hub in Dagenham.
