Description

Do you want to put your customer service and co-ordination skills to use supporting a fantastic North West charity with a life-saving mission?

We're looking for a Fundraising Assistant to join this mighty income generation team that enables the North West's air ambulance service to fly the most advanced medical crew and equipment to patients when and where they need it most.

This is a brand-new role to ensure supporters have the best possible experience fundraising for the charity; whether that's completing a challenge, putting on their own event, getting involved in a campaign or mixing it up and getting creative! You'll have a varied role spanning customer service, events and campaigns support, as well as being the Fundraising Team's go-to person for administrative tasks.

You'll be a warm, friendly point of contact for supporters, speaking to people on the phone and by email so that requests are captured and promptly acted upon, and potential opportunities maximised.

We would be happy to consider candidates from a range of backgrounds; whether you've got existing charity experience, coming from another sector to transition into your first charity role or a school/college/university leaver.

Here's what you will definitely need:

* Warm and friendly interaction skills, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to build relationships and rapport, and provide exceptional customer service
* Solid IT skills, able to navigate and update database
* Ability to organise own time and prioritise a varied workload successfully
* An upbeat and positive attitude

Based primarily in the office at Knowsley with potential for some home/hybrid working. It's important that the community fundraising team has a presence at head office, so you'll want to engage and support the team there.

Salary £20,685
35 hours per week
25 days holiday + bank

If this sounds like a job you could get excited about, please get in touch with a copy of your CV to Ellen Drummond at Charity People.

Interviews to be held on Monday 10th January
