Our client is looking for an experienced Service Manager/Home Manager for their service based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The service requires a strong and motivational leader to join their existing team of Support Workers, Team Leaders, cooks, and administrators to lead, inspire, motivate, and bring the service in line with our client’s exemplary standards. You will work with business support functions, regional manager, local council, and CCGs to ensure the smooth running and ultimately a thumbs up from their service users.

A short walk from Wetherby town square, they’re close to shops, pubs, cafes, a library, colleges, and a sports centre. York and Leeds are also nearby

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will provide clear direction and be responsible for the day to day management of the support provided within the service. Your key responsibilities will include management and supervision of a great staff team, financial and health and safety management to fulfil their statutory obligations.
You will implement systems and procedures designed to promote positive outcomes for disabled people within the service, ensuring a flexible, proactive approach whilst meeting the desired outcomes of the people they support. You will manage the recruitment, selection and on-going training, development and performance of all staff in the service, to ensure achievement of national minimum care standard requirements.
