Head of Experience & Engagement

It has never been more critical to provide access to green space and to engage people deeply with nature - both for their own wellbeing and to inspire action to protect the natural world for the future.

We are creating a step change in Earth Trust’s visitor and engagement offer, delivering experiences and events that connect our visitors with nature and inspire an understanding of their environment, their place in it and their role in caring for it.

This role will be working across the charity to deliver an innovative, creative, engaging, effective, safe and accessible visitor experience for all of our visitors across Earth Trust spaces, including working effectively with the Head of Communications to coordinate this with the experience across our online spaces.

You will drive and develop our audiences, broadening our reach and deepening our impact. Fundamental to Earth Trust’s approach is action for parity, diversity and inclusivity of access and engagement and throughout you will strive to understand more and put this into practice.

You will be exploring barriers to green space inclusion and through new partnerships helping to address the challenges and improving diversity.

We are looking for someone experience of initiating, planning, delivering and evaluating creative programmes and visitor experiences. You will be a natural collaborator; working together with colleagues, partners, collaborators and suppliers to achieve common goals

You will gain wide, interesting and invaluable experience, working in a small, talented people focused organisation with big ambitions.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of initiating, planning, delivering and evaluating creative visitor experiences.
