Your new school
Quorn Hall School is a specialist therapeutic school for children and young people aged 6-17, with social, emotional and mental health needs and autism. The school is on a fantastic journey; we are growing, and with this comes the opportunity to embed the culture and system of a truly integrated education and therapy model. Your new role
We are looking for a compassionate Family Support Worker to join our successful team. Amongst other responsibilities the appointed candidate will act as a point of contact in school for families in need of support, managing, implementing and reviewing any support plans in place for families within school. You will help to identify and address the needs of children and families who need help to overcome barriers to learning and help families in the support of their child’s learning and well-being.

Skills and experience include:
• At least two years’ experience working with families and vulnerable students
• GCSE in English and Maths (A*-C) or Level 2 equivalent
• The ability to build aand maintain rapport with adults and children
• A good understanding of the challenges faced by the families you help
• Experience attending Social Care meetings such as CIN, Child Protection Conferences and Strategy Meetings (desirable)
• BA Degree in Health and Social Care field or Youth Work (desirable)
