INTENSIVE NEED NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER
Hours – 36 hours per week
Hourly rate - £11.34 per hour
Salary – £19,179.00
Location – Lincoln based
Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off, 10.00pm-8.15am
This role is working with a maximum of 2 young people in their living environment.
The desired candidate for this challenging and rewarding role will meet the following requirements:
- Effective communicator who can work as an advocate for individuals and empower them to lead a fulfilled life
- Be able to support young people in a 1-2-1 environment to support them to learn all necessary independent living skills to enable a positive move onto more independent living
- Be passionate, energetic and inspirational individuals who can work creatively with the young people to provoke positive change
- Have a high level of empathy which allows them to support the individual in a person centered way
- Evidenced knowledge of working with complex learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and mental health disorders
- An understanding of positive behavioural Support and Safeguarding procedures
- Be accustomed to working night shifts
- The ability to work individually (all shifts are lone working) but also to be able to work with others to build a safe and effective team around the individual as and when required
- Have access to their own transport as they will be required to travel to other areas of Lincolnshire in order to meet the service demands

Our Youth Housing service in Lincolnshire supports 16-17 year olds and care leavers including Young Parents up to 21 years who are homeless or are threatened with homelessness, to live independently.
