Pastry Junior Sous Chef

We are currently looking for an experienced Pastry Junior Sous chef to assist in heading up this hotels pastry kitchen alongside the Head Pastry chef and team. As Pastry Junior Sous you will prepare desserts across various outlets including a 2 AA rosette restaurant, Michelin starred restaurant as well as afternoon teas.

You will assist the Head Pastry Chef in running the kitchen and enable the team to achieve the highest levels of standards and service at all times.

City & Guilds 7061/7062 or NVQ Level 2&3Previous experience in a 4 or 5 star environmentSound understanding and experience of menu developmentVaried pastry background across multiple outletsGreat attention to detailsLeadership skillsStrong communicator with good interpersonal skillsAll candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a relevant and valid work permit or visa to live and work in the UK.
