Creative Support is a national, fast growing, not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Cookridge, Leeds.

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join our service in Cookridge, Leeds which provides quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role of the Senior Support Worker includes providing one to one or two to one support to the individuals who live there. The successful candidate should be able to remain a positive role model at all times.

Your role will include:

• Providing excellent personal care, administer medication, hoisting and lifting and help residents with domestic tasks such as cooking/cleaning
• Encourage residents to follow their passions and take part in a range of exciting activities such as visiting the theatre and cinema, visiting the daycentre, swimming, meals out, and many more!
• Attending regular senior team meetings, and supporting the House Senior in the running of house specific team meetings
• Participate in our Local On Call
• Willingness to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, this may include sleep ins

You must have up to one year’s previous care experience to be considered for this role.

Our vibrant service in Cookridge is located on a main bus route from Leeds and is approximately 30 minutes’ drive from the city centre. There is also a train station 1.4 miles away.
