Hours: 1,350 per year. This equates to 5 days per week, Saturday to Wednesday, between April and December. Average shift pattern will be 10:00-4:30. Weekend work required. No split shifts and evening work is rare as we are predominantly a day business.

Salary: £12,667 per annum (£18,298 FTE)

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year

Duration: This is a fixed term contract until 18th December 2022.

This role is split between the National Trust's two sites in York - Treasurer's House and Goddards.

Ensuring the team are competently trained and compliant with relevant legislation, you’ll also make sure every food and drink order is beautifully presented and served with a smile.

Interviews: This is an immediate start, interviews will be held by appointment on receiving applications.

You will not be required to work nights, split shifts and will be off on Christmas Day and Boxing Day as the property is fully closed to the public.

You will receive a bespoke induction on appointment and further professional training & development opportunities are available.

You'll need to be;

• Customer focussed with great communication skills both verbal and written

• Passionate about food, creative and proactive

• Aware of Health & Safety compliance requirements
