Start Date: January/February/March

Salary: £10.02-£10.20ph (rising to £10.50 from April) plus holiday pay entitlement & pension

Hours: Dayshift 9am--4pm (Saturday & Sunday 2 weekends per month) also 3 flexible night shifts per week 6pm-7am

Job Level: Experienced

You must have a PVG membership

Need to provide details for 2 referees

Be able to drive and have a UK licence (I have my own converted car)

Provide an up to date and full CV

I’m a 58 year old outgoing, creative and inspiring gentleman with a good sense of humour looking for a carer/companion to join my team in assisting me with all aspects of daily living. Ideally, you should be a positive, caring and enthusiastic individual who is confident working on a 1 to 1 basis and also able to step up and help each other to cover sickness, holiday leave etc.

You should be experienced with the tasks of lifting and handling, i.e. using an overhead ceiling electric hoist, transfers in and out of bed or bath, continence care, getting dressed etc.

This job entails working in a very relaxed atmosphere my team get on very well together and with myself. It's very different from working in a care home where there's time constraints and it can be a stressful environment. I see my carers also as companions and treat them very well.
