Description

Are you a talented business development professional who wants to be part of enabling young people and adults to reach their true potential? Are you passionate about social mobility and helping the most disadvantaged to create a better future? With a challenging job market on the horizon for so many people, you'll be at the heart of supporting people back into employment by securing new contracts, bids and tenders.

This dynamic employability charity is looking to initiate and deliver significant growth to help to deliver their five-year strategy, developing work programmes with young people in schools, individuals not in education or employment (NEET) and support for offenders in prison and the community. In order to do this, they'll need a Senior Business Development Manager to increase tender wins. This is such an exciting time to be joining this high performing team. As a result of their accelerating growth strategy they are meeting the demand to secure existing contracts which have previously been heavily focused in the North West of England. As Senior Business Development Manager you'll help them secure new contracts in new areas.

You'll have significant experience of business development (ideally winning large bids worth £500k+), as well as a track record of business analysis and service improvement. You'll also have significant experience of fully managing large and complex bids and tenders including supply chains. You're a talented relationship builder, able to negotiate and engage a wide range of funders, as well as motivate and influence internal stakeholders including at senior leadership and trustee level.

Flexible, life and family friendly employer. The charity is headquartered in Liverpool, but also have offices in Manchester. They would love their next Senior Business Development Manager to work a hybrid mix of home and office. This role is full time however we would welcome applications from people considering part time/job share opportunities.

Please get in touch with a copy of your CV for lots more detail. Our Regional Directors, Ellen Drummond & Amelia Lee are leading on this opportunity.

Closing: 25th January
Interview dates: 3rd & 4th February
