Description
The starting salary for this position is £31,273 per annum for 36 hours per week, based in Reigate and Banstead. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy.

In this role you will be part of the East Area Finance Team, currently reporting to the East Area Finance Manager and may include supporting Finance Assistants. You will be based in the area office in Reigate but you will be expected to support all Locality team staff in Adult Social Care with queries on Direct Payments.
The Finance Advisor will also assist the Area Finance Manager in all areas of financial management and will work closely with managers across the service and in central finance to ensure budgets are controlled effectively and all financial transactions are carried out accurately and in accordance with Surrey County Council regulations and government legislation.
We are looking for a candidate who...
- Has a working knowledge of managing of Direct Payments
- Is able to work in a fast paced front line team
- Can work as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- Has experience of working in a public sector environment with some understanding of social care
- Is able to able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
- Has excellent interpersonal skills
- Is comfortable working with all forms of information and communication technology
