Description
The Student Events Coordinator will support the University to develop and implement a series of events which focus on enhancing the student experience, building communities, and celebrating learning and teaching excellence. The post holder will carry out supporting work, providing advice and guidance, and leading on projects within this area.
Based within the Student Engagement Team of Cardiff University’s Learning and Teaching Academy, the role holder will manage the coordination and delivery of an extensive calendar of new events related to learning, teaching, student engagement, and the student experience across the University, based on student feedback. Working closely with the Academy’s Student Voice Manager, and a network of Student Engagement Officers based in schools, the post will play a key role in delivery of the Way Forward 2018-23 Education and Students sub-strategy.
You will be a highly organised and motivated administrator, with strong communication skills and experience of organising a range of events for a wide variety of stakeholders.
This is a full-time, open-ended position.
