The Cardiff Learning and Teaching Academy is offering an exciting opportunity to join its Digital Education Team.
As part of a growing team of digital learning specialists and working with cross functional learning and teaching teams, this role will delivery transformational change to the student experience at Cardiff. You will contribute to the delivery of Cardiff University’s Way Forward – Education and Students Strategy and other key strategic objectives relating to digital education.
As part of the Digital Education Team, you will lead and support a series of institutional projects and initiatives that are aligned to the Digital Education Roadmap (2021-2023). This ambitious strategy aims to enhance the quality and consistency of the digital learning environment, the digital skills and capabilities of staff and students and the use of technology-enhanced learning within academic curricula.
You will have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the effective and appropriate use of technology-enhanced learning and a track record of achieving transformational change in digital education.
You will provide expert guidance, advice and support to Colleges, Schools and Professional Services on the design, development and implementation of online materials and resources, helping colleagues implement a range of new technologies to enhance the student learning experience.
Using your excellent interpersonal skills, you will work collaboratively with academic staff, Learning Technologists, professional services (including IT), the Students’ Union and the wider Learning and Teaching Academy to support innovation and best practice that meets the needs of our staff and students.
This is a full-time, fixed term position until July 2024.
