Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and technical Cloud Architect to join our established and growing capability. If you have experience of operating at a Senior Manager level or leading pods of DevOps engineers and want to be part of many challenging and business-focussed customer transformation journeys, then this could be for you.

As a Cloud Architect your responsibilities will include.

  • Technical escalation point for complex Azure deployments and projects. Including taking responsibility for architectural decisions, technology and tool choices, from design through to run

  • Recognising & realising your Team’s true potential

  • The development of more junior colleagues through career coaching and mentoring

  • Produce consistently superior results through collaboration, innovation, attitude & approach

Cloud Architect Skills & Experience Required

  • Azure Certified (AWS or GCP Certification would be a bonus)

  • Apply Azure or Terraform skills to deploy, upgrade or fix solutions

  • Guide teams through troubleshooting production issues and coordinate with development teams to streamline code deployment

  • Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)

  • Collaborate with teams to improve tools, systems and procedures, and data security

  • Review and approve your teams input during systems tests for security, performance, and availability

  • Create design and troubleshooting documentation, including authoring High Level Design documentation

  • Skilled in container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)

  • Strategically design, built and expand on monitoring, reporting, governance and optimisation solutions with a view to achieving maximum automation and world class managed services
