Key Strategic Skills Requirements

We are seeking three new Board members to join our experienced Board and highly skilled executives. We are looking for people who share our values and can bring:

  • Senior leadership experience in a regulated public or voluntary sector environment – to also become Chair of our People, Remuneration and Nominations Committee
  • Commercial finance and accounting skills – to also join our Audit and Assurance Committee
  • Contemporary customer service design and delivery skills – to also join our Homes and Investment Committee

Experience in the housing sector is desirable, however, we welcome applications from those with relevant experience and/or qualifications outside the sector and from those with particular strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to inspire and engage.

The minimum requirement will be on average one day per month to attend meetings, mostly held remotely via MS Teams, with attendance at our Head Office around 3-4 times a year, with approximately a further 1-2 days of meeting preparation per month.

There would also be commitment to CPD through conferences, training and workshops.
