This school are seeking an Outstanding English practitioner to teach KS3 and KS4 English lessons on a full time basis. Applicants should ideally be available by April 2022. All applicants must have QTS and recent English Teaching experience. M1-M6 Inner London Pay Scale is available for this role.

The Headteacher is looking for an outstanding English teacher with strong knowledge of child development to teach KS3 and KS4 English. Applicants should have excellent collaboration and communication skills and be confident in their knowledge and use of IT and willing to develop their skills in this area, including teaching through Remote Education platforms if necessary.
Essential qualifications/experience:
- Have qualified teacher status;
- Proven experience and knowledge of teaching English up to GCSE level;
- Ability to work well as part of a team;
- Evidence of consistently outstanding teaching;
- Well organised with good time management skills.
Desirable qualifications/experience:
- Experience of preparing children for assessments, including 11+ and 13+ examinations;
- The ability to teach English at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3;
- The ability to teach additional subjects may be an advantage;
- An appropriate First Aid qualification - training will be provided if not already held.
