This is an exciting and influential managerial role within our Research and Consultancy team, working with colleagues all over the world, overseeing a diverse portfolio of consultancy projects on topics linked to our core proposition areas, including: Teacher Professional Development, Leadership of Learning, Girls’ Education, Evidence for Policy and Practice, Accountability including school inspections, System Strengthening and Careers and Employability.

You will have the overall accountability for ensuring the effective management of our team of technical consultants and researchers and the achievement of exceptional standards of delivery for clients; whilst ensuring utilisation is optimised and operational processes are efficient and effective to meet commercial targets, and delivery excellence is maintained. You will share line management of the team with the Global Head of Research & Consultancy.

If you have a background in consultancy, have worked extensively in education and international development, have a strong network with international donors such as FCDO, UNICEF and World Bank, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for someone with strong consultancy skills who has worked at senior level with a wide variety of donors in different contexts. The successful candidate will have excellent client relationship management, solution design and problem-solving skills and will be adept at building and developing a team with wide ranging skills and expertise.
