An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and high-profile team in an exciting dual role has arisen that will see the successful applicant combine academic Lecturing and Head of Rugby responsibilities.
The role will collaborate with regional/national stakeholders, such as NGBs, rugby clubs and secondary schools to deliver outstanding teaching and aspirational rugby opportunities in Further and Higher Education. The College has an ambitious growth agenda for its sports performance programmes within our local area. We are looking for an individual with a passion for education, rugby and developing young people through the vehicle of elite sport to meet the regional demands of the sports sector.
The Faculty of Health, Sport and Student Participation is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Sports Coaching and Performance - Rugby, with knowledge and capacity to teach a range of Sports concepts, such as sports science and coaching. The successful individual will apply their knowledge and expertise across our academic and academy programmes. An extensive programme of training and support is available for the successful candidate. The College benefits from state of the art facilities at its Health and Active Living Centre, including a sports performance gym, AGP, sports hall, laboratories and a simulation ward.
