Description

March 2022 - Aspiring Youth Justice Officer Littlehampton - Full time- Aspiring Youth Justice Officer Littlehampton - Ideal role for a Criminology, Psychology or Sociology graduate.

This is a Learning Support Assistant role set in a provision for SEMH and Autistic students, due start immediately in January 2022. I would love to discuss this role with you and get a sense of your objectives.

Graduates wanted! £75 per day, Monday to Friday - Now until the end of July 2022, with the option of joining the school permanently, if that's something both sides want to do.

Education and Training provided - Youth and Community Gradates, Psychology & Criminology Graduates required for this LSA role in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Being able to raise student's attainment is very important, the core academics are essential combined with an empathetic and restorative approach.

You will be working with children, through their Social, Emotional and Mental Health, who have low tolerance levels for stress. This is an all boy's provision for boys aged 9-16.

The students range from those who are cognitively very capable, academically, to children with a very low level of learning and who will require personal care. It's a good example of how diverse and the complicated role SEMH and Autism plays in society, each child will have a very different experience when they go home. The school provides a restoratively safe place for the boys to raise their emotional and academic attainment, big focus on both the core and vocational subjects.

Can you make the student's life just that little bit better today, keep them safe and demonstrate the value of an education to the students?

Sincerity is a major key in this role, your objectives within youth advocacy and social justice could well come to the fore, restorative processes will form the foundations of this. You won't achieve much without it.
