An idyllic independent prep school on the borders of Berkshire and Surrey are seeking an EAL Teacher. This is a part time position from March 2022. (roughly 2 days a week)

This independent prep school has a vibrant and warm atmosphere which resonates throughout. Every pupil is known to each member of staff and they are taught and nurtured as individuals within a genuine family atmosphere. Yet the school stills incorporate an inspiring range of opportunities both within and outside the curriculum for every child to get involved. Pupils are encouraged to grow in self-esteem, have a positive mindset and be the best they can within numerous acres of fields, pitches and woodland. This provides a home for outdoor learning, activities and play, allowing children to have fun and enjoy themselves.

The Head is looking for a dynamic and positive EAL teacher who has the ability and enthusiasm to bring excellent progress and enjoyment to their pupils' learning. The successful candidate will be well organised and flexible, have a sense of humour and must have experience of teaching EAL. A qualification within TEFL or EAL is highly desirable. The role will also involve an element of teaching SEN pupils.
