Prospectus is delighted to be supporting an independent charity that provides specialist end of life care to patients throughout Dorset, as they look to appoint a new Finance Director to their team. This is a vital role within the organisation, providing strategic and operational financial management to the hospice.

This is a Hybrid role working 1-2 days a week at Trimar House in Weymouth.

This care is given in the comfort of patients' own homes by Weldmar Community Nurses and the Weldmar at Home team, via Day Services held across the county or as inpatients at their hospice in Dorchester. Their team of dedicated staff and volunteers ensure that they can continue to support patients through one of life's most difficult journeys.

The Finance Director will be a member of the Director's Group and Board and contribute towards the development and ambitions of the hospice. You will be responsible for financial strategic and management of 3 members of the finance team, as well as the production of accurate financial information

The successful candidate will be a confident, fully qualified, finance professional with significant experience within a senior leadership position. You will have excellent attention to detail with the ability to communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders across the organisation.
