The Role:-
Are you looking for an exciting challenge? The Property Investment and Regeneration department are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Regeneration Manager. This is a busy time for Watford with the regeneration of the Town Hall Quarter, Watford Business Park Gateway commercial development, Riverwell residential led development and other capital projects involving the delivery of housing on identified surplus sites, this is your opportunity to lead a team within the Service to help deliver this. You will work with a team of Property & Regeneration Project Managers with surveyor support, reporting directly to the Head of Property Investment & Regeneration.
What we are looking for:-
You will hold relevant qualification of degree level preferably in a built environment subject, or equivalent experience and be a member of the relevant professional body. In particular, we would expect you to have a successful track record of delivering regeneration projects, be skilled in resource and programme management, the monitoring and control of significant budgets and experience of articulating complex reports, business cases and bids to colleagues, members and other stakeholders in a comprehensible style. Ideally you should have been involved in the delivery of development projects with a private/public sector interface, with them being delivered on time and on budget, showing a well-developed appreciation of the strategic issues and challenges involved.
