Residential post required for September 2022

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate teacher with a proven track record in boarding and pastoral care, to join our team as Housemistress in one of our middle school Boarding Houses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and well-being of our boarders, manage the Boarding House staff and be expected to be involved in all aspects of Mayfield life, including teaching a reduced academic timetable within the sixth form. Most curriculum subjects will be considered. Candidates must have a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the School and to the education of girls.

Accommodation is provided as this is a residential post. We offer excellent working conditions and an attractive salary package, on Mayfield’s own pay scale, which will reflect the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. This role has become available as a result of the internal promotion of our existing Housemistress.
