We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Communications Team within HM Treasury.

We're looking for someone to join our team to help inform, promote and defend HM Treasury’s policies and the government's economic plan.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the departments insight team, working primarily on surveys and focus groups research to support the delivery of high quality communication and policy making.

Reporting to the Head of the Communications Strategy Unit, you should have the following skills, experiences and attributes;

  1. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to make sense of various data sources.Experience working with polling and/or focus group data Communicate complex issues clearly, both in person and in writing. The role requires excellent planning and organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines. The confidence to be proactive, work on your own initiative and quickly grasp complex issues. Build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of partners.

No previous experience in economics is required for this role.
